Magewell Pro Capture Mini HDMI - Mini PCIe Capture Card / HDMI / 1080p60 / No Heat Sink

Key features

• HDMI 1.4a up to 1080p60 with embedded audio
• Mini PCIe form factor (30 × 51 mm) for compact systems
• JST SHD 20-pin connector with included HDMI adapter
• 10-bit processing: deinterlacing, scaling, cropping
• Version without heat sink

How it works

The card fits a Mini PCIe slot (PCIe Gen2) and the HDMI input connects to the JST connector via the included adapter. Image processing is done in hardware on the card; under Windows and Linux it registers as a standard capture device. This version ships without a heat sink, intended for systems where the card is cooled via the enclosure or a custom cooling solution.

Applications

Compact and embedded systems: mini PCs, edge computers, medical equipment, kiosks, encoders and other OEM applications with no room for a PCIe card.

Limitations

Up to 1080p60, no 4K. The three versions differ only in cooling (small, large or no heat sink). HDCP-protected sources cannot be captured.
