How it works

The M4350 is NETGEAR's stackable AV switch series, from edge to core. With Virtual Chassis stacking, multiple switches act as one, with non-stop forwarding and seamless failover. NETGEAR IGMP Plus makes multicast work out of the box, and the AV interface or Engage Controller lets you assign profiles per port. The Layer 3 features (static, policy-based and dynamic routing) also make it suitable as a core switch. Most models have a quiet mode and a slot for an extra modular power supply (redundancy and/or extra PoE budget).

Applications

Medium to large AV-over-IP networks: broadcast (SMPTE ST 2110), NDI and Dante installations, campuses, stadiums, churches, event venues and as core or aggregation switch above M4250 switches.

Limitations

No copper ports and no PoE; modules sold separately.
