Netgear Pro Router PR60X - Dual-WAN Router / 10G + 2.5G / SFP+ / Insight

Key features

• Dual WAN with failover: 10G/multi-gig and 2.5G
• 3× 2.5G LAN and 1× 10G SFP+ (LAN)
• Firewall (SPI, DoS protection) and IPSec site-to-site VPN
• Cloud management via NETGEAR Insight
• 19" rack-mountable

How it works

The Pro Router connects the local network to the internet through two WAN ports with automatic failover: if one connection drops, the other takes over. Management is done through NETGEAR Insight in the cloud, together with NETGEAR Pro access points and selected switches. IPSec lets you build site-to-site VPN connections; an optional licence adds threat prevention and web and DNS security.

Applications

Offices, studios, event venues and AV installations that need a fast, reliable internet connection with backup.

Limitations

Up to 8 VLANs. Advanced security (threat prevention, web/DNS) requires a separate licence.
