How it works

The module slides hot-swappably into an SFP or SFP+ port on the switch and converts it to the desired connection. Use a matching type at both ends of a link (same wavelength and fiber type).

Applications

Uplinks between switches, connections between buildings or floors and connecting AV equipment via fiber or copper, for example with NETGEAR M4250, M4350 and M4300 switches.

Limitations

Only for short distances within a rack.
