How it works

The M4250 is preconfigured for AV over IP: with NETGEAR IGMP Plus, multicast traffic works out of the box without complex configuration. In the AV web interface you assign a ready-made profile to each port (for example Dante, NDI, Q-SYS or video), and multiple M4250 and M4350 switches connect automatically via auto-trunk and auto-LAG. Management is possible locally, via the NETGEAR Engage Controller or with standard tools such as SNMP and CLI.

Applications

AV-over-IP installations with NDI, Dante/AES67, SDVoE or other video and audio streams: meeting rooms, churches, education, live productions, broadcast and events.
