How it works

The Ultra Encode encodes the signal in H.264 or H.265 and sends it over multiple protocols at once, for example to YouTube via RTMP, to a control room via SRT and as NDI|HX on the local network. Two streams (main and sub stream) with their own settings are created. Simultaneous recording to SD card, USB storage or a network share is possible. Managed via the web interface, HTTP API or centrally with Magewell Control Hub.

Applications

Professional live streams and contribution via SRT, NDI workflows with vMix or OBS, IPTV distribution, education and corporate events.

Limitations

4K60 in 4:2:0 only. Single input; the Ultra Encode AIO can mix two sources.
