How it works
The card fits a Mini PCIe slot (PCIe Gen2 x1); the SDI signals connect via MMCX-to-BNC cables. Image processing is done in hardware on the card; the card registers as a standard capture device. This version ships without a heat sink, intended for systems where the card is cooled via the enclosure or a custom cooling solution.
Applications
Compact and embedded systems: mini PCs, edge computers, medical equipment, kiosks, encoders and other OEM applications with no room for a PCIe card.
Limitations
Up to 3G-SDI (1080p60), no 4K. The three versions differ only in cooling (small, large or no heat sink).
