Libec DL-3RB Universal Dolly

Features

The Libec DL-3RB Standard Dolly is a foldable tripod dolly that allows compatible video tripods to be moved quickly and smoothly across a flat surface. The dolly was developed for the Libec RT30B, RT40B, RT50B, and RT50C tripods, but is also suitable for selected models from Sachtler, Vinten, and Manfrotto.

The three wheels each have a separate, foot-operated brake pedal. This allows the tripod to be securely locked in position after moving. With a load capacity of up to 45 kg, the dolly is suitable for professional tripods with camera, video head, and accessories.

Operation

The legs of a compatible tripod are placed in the designated holders of the dolly and secured. The entire camera system can then be moved without having to lift the tripod.

The three swivel casters allow the tripod to be moved in various directions. Each wheel has its own foot brake, so that the dolly can be locked individually after positioning.

On smooth and hard floors, the DL-3RB can also be used for simple moving camera shots. For transport, the three legs are folded inwards, after which the dolly can be carried using the integrated carrying handle.

Key features

High load capacity

The DL-3RB supports a maximum load of 45 kg. This allows the dolly to be used with professional video cameras, tripod heads, teleprompters, and other accessories, as long as the total weight remains within the maximum capacity.

Individually lockable wheels

Each of the three wheels features its own foot-operated brake. This allows the dolly to be securely locked in place after moving, without the user having to bend down.

Smooth transfer

The wheels have a diameter of approximately 9.9 cm and are intended for use on flat, hard surfaces. This allows a complete camera system to be easily moved within a studio or production space.

Foldable design

After use, the dolly can be folded to a length of approximately 62 cm. The integrated carrying handle simplifies transport to a studio or recording location.

Broad compatibility

In addition to various Libec tripods, the dolly supports selected tripods from Sachtler, Vinten, and Manfrotto, among others.

Limits

• The working diameter is not adjustable.
• The dolly has no cable guards above the wheels.
• Primarily suitable for smooth and hard floors.
• Uneven floors, thresholds, and thick carpet can disrupt smooth camera movements.
• Not designed for use on standard dolly rails.
• The actual compatibility depends on the tripod model and the shape of the tripod legs.
