How it works

The laptop connects with a single USB-C cable to the PC HOST module at the table. The U-BRIDGE USB-C DUO carries the video to the display over one CAT6A cable and connects the USB camera and audio interfaces (UVC/UAC) of a videobar to the laptop. The laptop also gets a wired network connection. For USB 3.2 Gen 1 speed, both modules can be complemented with a U-BRIDGE 3 via the USB3-EXT ports.

Applications

Modern BYOM meeting rooms: connect laptops at the table to a videobar, room display and network, for example with systems such as Cisco Room Kit EQ or Logitech MeetUp 2. With two displays you can show participants on one and content on the other.

Limitations

100W charging requires the included USB-C power supply. USB data over the link is USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) unless a U-BRIDGE 3 is added. 4K60 only up to 40 m and with a single display; with two displays up to 4K30.
