Magewell USB Capture SDI Plus - USB 3.0 Capture Device / 3G-SDI + Loop / 2K60

Key features

• SD/HD/3G/2K-SDI input with embedded audio
• SDI loop-through output
• Line in to add analogue audio; de-embed audio via line out
• Driver-free UVC/UAC
• Low power consumption (approx. 2.5 W)

How it works

The device works as a standard UVC/UAC webcam and microphone: plug it into a USB port and it is recognised without drivers by Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Scaling, deinterlacing and colour conversion are done in the device itself, so you simply choose the format you want in your software and the computer's processor is offloaded.

Applications

Streaming and recording with OBS, vMix or Wirecast, using cameras in Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, lecture capture, recording gameplay and bringing broadcast or surveillance video into a laptop.

Limitations

No 4K; 6G/12G-SDI requires the SDI 4K Plus or 4K Pro.
