How it works

The device works as a standard UVC/UAC webcam and microphone: plug it into a USB port and it is recognised without drivers by Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Scaling, deinterlacing and colour conversion are done in the device itself, so you simply choose the format you want in your software and the computer's processor is offloaded.

Applications

Streaming and recording with OBS, vMix or Wirecast, using cameras in Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, lecture capture, recording gameplay and bringing broadcast or surveillance video into a laptop.

Limitations

Capture up to 2K; 4K capture requires the USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus or 4K Pro. HDCP-protected sources cannot be captured.
