How it works

The SDI2USB3 appears on the computer as a standard USB camera. All SD/HD signals are converted in hardware to 4:2:2 8-bit over USB 3.0, including scaling and frame rate conversion. The active loop output passes the SDI signal unchanged to a monitor or recorder.

Applications

Connect broadcast cameras or SDI switchers to a laptop for streaming, video conferencing or recording, for example in auditoriums, houses of worship and events.

Limitations

No 4K/12G-SDI; limited to 3G-SDI (1080p60). On USB 2.0 only resolutions below 1080p.
