How it works
The U-CAM acts as a host for a USB webcam or USB PTZ camera: it reads the uncompressed or MJPEG image and outputs it as an HDMI signal with audio. This lets you connect a USB camera to a codec, matrix, switcher or display with an HDMI input.
Applications
Use USB conference cameras and webcams with hardware codecs, HDMI matrices or video switchers that have no USB input.
Limitations
One camera is captured at a time. 4K30 only with uncompressed USB 3.0 cameras (I420/NV12); over USB 2.0 up to 1080p30 MJPEG.
