Inogeni TOGGLE - USB 3.0 Switcher / 3 USB Devices between 2 Computers

Key features

• Switches 3 USB 3.0/2.0 devices between 2 computers
• Automatic: switches to the laptop when it is connected and back when it is disconnected
• Manual push button or remote control via RS-232 and GPI
• Powers connected USB devices (up to 1.8 A shared)
• Configuration stored on board; updates via the INOGENI Control App

How it works

The room camera, speakerphone and other USB equipment stay connected to the TOGGLE. Normally they are connected to the room PC; when a visitor plugs in a laptop, the TOGGLE switches over automatically, with no re-cabling or hunting for hubs.

Applications

Meeting rooms and classrooms where both a fixed PC and users' laptops (BYOD/BYOM) need access to the room camera and audio.

Limitations

Switches USB only, not HDMI video; for USB plus HDMI use the TOGGLE ROOMS or TOGGLE DOCK 2×1.
