Operation

The ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 40 receives SMPTE ST-2110 IP video streams via redundant 10G Ethernet connections and converts them to SDI and HDMI monitor outputs for real-time monitoring.

The system supports SMPTE 2022-7 Seamless Protection Switching, where dual IP streams are processed over two separate networks for maximum reliability during live productions.

Users can easily switch between program, preview, and multiview signals via the front panel. The integrated LCD displays status information and system settings, while the built-in talkback functionality enables communication with cameras and the control room.

The monitoring converter can be integrated into existing ATEM and SMPTE-2110 workflows via the network.
