Features

The Blackmagic HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G is a professional 2U broadcast recorder for IP-based video productions compliant with SMPTE 2110. The system is designed for multi-camera workflows and can record up to eight simultaneous video streams in high quality.

The recorder supports 10-bit 4:2:2 video up to DCI 4K60 and saves each channel separately as a ProRes file on shared network storage via dual 100GbE connections .

Operation

The HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G receives video via SMPTE 2110 IP streams and records up to eight separate video channels simultaneously. Each channel is stored as a separate ProRes file on shared storage over the network.

Thanks to the dual 100GbE connections and support for SMPTE ST 2022-7 , the data stream is transmitted redundantly via two network paths. As a result, recording remains active even in the event of network problems or the failure of one connection.

The system supports:

• Simultaneous recording of multiple cameras (ISO recording)

• Direct storage on central storage (NAS/SAN)

• Simultaneous playback of all channels

• Use in live switching, replay, and post-production

Support for 16 embedded audio channels per stream makes it possible to record full multichannel audio for extensive post-production.

Operation and monitoring

The recorder features a 2.2-inch LCD screen on the front panel for monitoring video, audio, and system status.

Additionally, there is a precision metal jog/shuttle wheel with an electronic clutch for accurate navigation through clips. Transport buttons enable direct operation for:

• to search

• scrubbing by media

For audio monitoring there are:

• built-in speaker

• headphone output

Connectivity and control

The HyperDeck ISO Recorder 100G supports extensive integration into broadcast workflows via:
