The Blackmagic Cloud Store Mini 16TB is a compact professional network storage solution for film, television, and post-production workflows. The system is designed for sharing large media files between multiple users and is suitable for editing, color correction, audio, and VFX.

The storage capacity is 16TB , consisting of 4 × 4TB NVMe M.2 SSDs configured internally as RAID 0 for high throughput. As a result, the system is suitable for heavy video workflows and large files, including 12K Blackmagic RAW .

Operation

The Cloud Store Mini 16TB functions as central shared storage within a video network. High-speed workstations can be connected directly via the 10GbE port , while the 1GbE port can be used for an existing network or internet connection. Together, these ports function as a built-in 2-port network switch .

For systems without an RJ45 network port, there is a USB-C connection with a built-in USB-C to Ethernet adapter . This allows a computer to connect directly to the storage without an additional adapter.

The four internal NVMe SSDs run in parallel in RAID 0 , ensuring high throughput and low latency. This allows multiple users to work simultaneously with the same media files, for example in shared editing, grading, or multicam workflows.

Real-time status information can be displayed on a monitor via the HDMI output , such as:

• sync status

• power and system status
