The Sony PXW-Z300 is a professional UHD 4K60 broadcast camcorder featuring a 3 × 1/2" Exmor R CMOS sensor system and BIONZ XR image processor. The camera supports UHD 4K and HD recording up to 60p and offers extensive networking capabilities for live streaming, cloud workflows, and fast file transfers.

Operation

The PXW-Z300 combines three 4K Exmor R CMOS sensors with the BIONZ XR image processor , resulting in faithful color reproduction, high detail resolution and low noise performance.

The integrated AI processing unit supports advanced subject recognition for autofocus, including detection in backlight, partial face coverage, or long distances.

The camera supports multiple recording formats such as:

• MPEG HD422 (MXF)

• Proxy MP4

With RTMP/RTMPS and SRT support, the camera can live stream directly via Wi-Fi or wired LAN.
