Features

The Bolin EXU248N is an outdoor PTZ camera with built-inNDI supportand a 1-inch Sony Exmor R CMOS image sensor. The camera supports video output up to 4K30 and features a48× optical zoom in Full HDand18× in 4K mode.
The camera offers simultaneous output viaNDI (High Bandwidth and HX3),dual 6G-SDI,HDMI 2.0, optical SDI via SFP, and IP streaming. The housing isIP67-certifiedand equipped with a built-in heater, defroster, and concealed windshield wiper for outdoor use. Built-in ND filters, optical image stabilization, and FreeD support are also included.

Operation

The large image sensor and optical zoom allow you to capture distant subjects while preserving detail and dynamic range. Thanks to integrated NDI functionality, the camera can be directly integrated into AV-over-IP networks without external encoders.
The PTZ control supports precise pan, tilt, and zoom movements with programmable presets and trace memory, allowing a single camera to cover multiple fixed and dynamic frames. The weatherproof housing with active heating and wiper ensures reliable operation in varying weather conditions.

Application

The EXU248N is designed forprofessional outdoor installationssuch as sports venues, event venues, infrastructure and field monitoring, and fixed broadcast setups. The combination of NDI, SDI, and HDMI makes the camera suitable for both IP-based productions and traditional broadcast and hybrid workflows. FreeD support enables integration into AR and virtual production applications.

Limits

The camera does not have internal storage; recording and archiving require external equipment. The maximum 4K output is limited to 30 fps, which may be less suitable for applications requiring higher frame rates. Due to its size, weight, and power consumption, a suitable mounting and power solution is required, including PoE++ or an external power source, depending on the installation.
