Magewell Pro Capture Dual HDMI 4K Plus LT - PCIe Capture Card / 2× HDMI 2.0 + Loop / 4K60

Key features

• Two independent HDMI 2.0 inputs up to 4096×2160p60
• Two HDMI loop-through outputs
• Embedded audio per channel
• Rotary switch to identify multiple cards in one system
• PCIe Gen2 x8

How it works

The card fits in a free PCIe slot and registers in the operating system as a standard capture device. The on-board FPGA handles deinterlacing, scaling, colour space and frame rate conversion in hardware, leaving the computer's processor free for encoding, streaming or recording. Each channel can deliver several streams at once, for example in different resolutions for recording and streaming. Multiple cards can be used in one system.

Applications

Streaming and recording workstations, production systems for events and houses of worship, broadcast ingest, medical and industrial imaging, and servers that must run 24/7.

Limitations

Requires a PCIe x8 slot (or larger). HDCP-protected sources cannot be captured.
