Magewell USB Capture AIO - USB 3.0 Capture Device / SDI, HDMI, DVI, VGA, Component, Composite / 2K

Key features

• 3G-SDI, VGA and DVI-I input; HDMI, component, composite and S-video via cables
• Up to 2048×2160
• Hardware scaling, deinterlacing and frame rate conversion
• Also works on USB 2.0 (lower resolution/frame rate)
• Driver-free UVC/UAC

How it works

The device works as a standard UVC/UAC webcam and microphone: plug it into a USB port and it is recognised without drivers by Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Scaling, deinterlacing and colour conversion are done in the device itself, so you simply choose the format you want in your software and the computer's processor is offloaded.

Applications

Meeting rooms, lecture halls and events with a mix of sources, archive digitisation and medical equipment.

Limitations

One source at a time; no loop-through and no 4K.
