How it works

The Pro Convert encodes the incoming signal to NDI on the network with very low latency. Powered via PoE or the included adapter, so a single network cable is enough. The Mini-DIN port lets the NDI software control PTZ cameras and tally. Setup is done via the web interface, HTTP API or centrally with Magewell Control Hub.

Applications

Connecting cameras, computers and other sources to NDI productions with vMix, TriCaster, OBS or Wirecast, and distributing signals over the existing network.

Limitations

NDI output up to 2K; a 4K source is downscaled. 4K NDI requires the HDMI 4K Plus. HDCP-protected sources cannot be converted.
