TheCanon XA60is a compact4K UHD camcorderwith a1/2.3″ CMOS sensorand DIGIC DV6 image processor. The camera supports internal recording inXF-AVC and MP4, features a20x optical zoom lens, 5-axis image stabilization and offersHDMI outputandUVC video streaming via USB-C.

The camera is designed for professional video applications requiring mobility, reliable autofocus, and flexible recording formats. USB audio output is not supported.

Operation

The XA60 capturesUHD 4K video (3840 × 2160), using oversampling to generate high-quality Full HD images from the 4K sensor.

The integrated20x optical zoom lens (29.3–627mm eq.)offers a wide range from wide-angle to telephoto. Digital zoom and 5-axis stabilization support handheld use.

TheHybrid AF system with face detection and trackingensures accurate and fast focusing. The autofocus point can be selected directly via the 3.5" touchscreen.

The camera supports recording in:

• XF-AVC 4K UHD up to 160 Mbps

• MP4 4K UHD up to 150 Mbps

• Full HD up to 59.94p

Recording is done on dual SD cards (UHS-I), with relay or simultaneous backup recording.
