How it works

Connect a tri-level sync generator, such as the AIDA TGEN-6P, to the genlock input on the I/O cable. All cameras then run exactly in step, preventing frame offsets when switching. Control and color matching are done over the network with VISCA over IP, for example with the AIDA RCP-CORE.

Applications

Broadcast and TV productions, multi-camera live streams, 3D recording and installations where cameras must stay in sync with the rest of the equipment.

Limitations

No zoom: the field of view depends on the lens. No IP video streaming; the network port is for control only. PoE+ only via the included adapter. A sync generator is required separately to use genlock.
