Features

The FieldCast 2Core SM Ultra Light, 100 m on drum, is a single-mode, dual-fiber fiber optic cable specifically designed for use in professional AV, broadcast, and live production environments. The cable is constructed with OS2 single-mode fibers (9/125) and has an ultra-light outer sheath with an outer diameter of approximately 4.8 mm . The cable is coiled on a professional cable reel for controlled unwinding and storage.

Operation

The cable transports optical signals over distance with minimal signal loss and high bandwidth capacity , making it suitable for SDI-over-fiber applications, IP video, and other single-mode transmissions. The two shielded fibers are color-coded with yellow markings for easy identification as 2-core single-mode cable. The cable reel ensures tidy operation and reduces kinks and wear during installation and disassembly.

Application

This fiber optic cable is designed for live productions, broadcast sets, public address vehicles, events, and temporary installations where reliable, long-distance video transmission is required. Limits
