The DVTEC EngRig Pro Support is a professional, spring-loaded camera mount specifically developed for ENG and broadcast cameras. The system mounts onto a standard 15mm rod system and shifts the weight of the camera from the shoulders and arms to the hips. This makes prolonged filming more comfortable and enables more stable footage during movement.

The active suspension supports the camera during operation and significantly reduces fatigue during long shooting days.

Operation

The EngRig Pro Support attaches to the camera's 15mm rod system. The weight of the camera is transferred to a waist belt with a holster via a spring-loaded support arm.

As a result, the cameraman no longer has to bear the full weight on his arms and shoulders. The adjustable suspension compensates for the weight of the camera and supports both static and dynamic shots.

During continuous shooting, the suspension absorbs vertical movements and shocks, making the image appear steadier. For fixed setups, the support arm can be fully locked.
