The Canon XF605 is a professional 4K UHD camcorder with a 1.0″ CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV7 image processor. The camera supports internal recording in 4:2:2 10-bit in both XF-AVC (MXF) and MP4 (H.265/H.264) , delivering UHD 4K up to 60p and Full HD up to 120p .

Operation

The 1.0" sensor combines with the DIGIC DV7 processor for high detail reproduction, low noise, and wide dynamic range. Internal recording is possible in:

• XF-AVC 4:2:2 10-bit (MXF)

• H.265/MP4 4:2:2 10-bit

• H.264/MP4 4:2:0 8-bit

The fixed 15x L-series zoom lens (25.5–382.5mm eq.) features separate rings for focus, zoom, and iris.

The Dual Pixel CMOS AF system supports Eye Tracking AF and EOS iTR AF X Head Tracking for precise subject tracking.

Built-in ND filters (2, 4 and 6 stops) allow exposure to be controlled without changing shutter speed or aperture.
