The RainCover Small is suitable for handheld camera work, but is also ideal when your camera is mounted on a tripod, slider, track system, JIB, or other camera support.

Sustainable and functional design

Always take the camRade rainCover Small with you so you won't be caught off guard when the weather turns. The cover comes in a waterproof zippered pouch for storage and transport. Its convenient design makes it easy to attach and remove. Leave the bottom open for easy access or secure it with the double straps when the wind picks up. The blue sliding rail allows you to adjust the buckles to the desired position when the camera is mounted on a tripod.

Clamps around the sun hood

Thanks to the 30cm rubber strip, the RainCover fits most lenses. The included hook-and-loop strap allows you to secure the cover to the lens, while still allowing you to operate the lens thanks to its spacious design.

The included zippered LensC M extension covers and protects longer lenses. camRade offers a separate camRade RainCover Extension Kit (SKU: CAM-RAINCVR-KIT) to protect the grip, 5” and 7” monitors/recorders, and longer lenses.

Protection goes beyond just the camera and lens

camRade includes two different viewfinder covers. A small, simple cover for an LCD screen and an advanced solution that covers 99% of current external viewfinders and magnifiers. The rainCover Small includes a battery extension cover that allows you to extend the back of the camera by up to 20 cm (7.9 in). This addition allows you to protect larger batteries, transmitters, or other accessories from the rain.

Easy access to what matters

On the left side of the cover is a transparent window (19 cm wide and 20 cm high) that allows you to clearly see the camera's controls. The open bottom makes these controls easy to use. Directly above the window is a Velcro fastener for removing the viewfinder and/or LCD screen support from the main cover. You can use one of the two included viewfinder covers to use the viewfinder in any position without restriction.

A vertical Velcro flap at the top of the case allows you to attach a top handle or other accessories. Next to the opening for the handle is a protective cover for a standard shotgun microphone on the camera. This flap also features a 12cm wide Velcro flap to route cables and/or provide access to a cold/hot accessory shoe mount.

The right side of the rainCover Small has a vertical zipper that provides access to a handle and input/output ports. A round opening with a pull cord on the back (above the battery) allows for the use of an integrated viewfinder. The opening is large enough for the camera's eyecup and can also be used to attach the top handle for high-angle shots.
