Features

The Bolin EXU420F 4K60 Live Production Outdoor PTZ Camera is an outdoor PTZ camera that delivers high-resolution UHD 4K60 video with smooth movement and precise color reproduction. The camera uses a 1/2.8-inch Sony IMX715 image sensor and a 20× optical zoom lens . It supports simultaneous video output via dual 12G-SDI , HDMI 2.0 , optical SDI (SFP slot) , and IP streaming . The housing is IP67-certified for dust and water resistance and includes a heater, defroster, and a concealed windshield wiper for continuous outdoor use. The camera supports the FreeD protocol for real-time tracking and multiple control interfaces.

Operation

The combination of the Sony 4K image sensor with high dynamic range and 20× optical zoom supports image capture with detail and color consistency, even under varying lighting conditions. Simultaneous output channels (12G-SDI, HDMI, and IP) allow multiple systems to independently process the same video. The built-in FPGA-FAST-HEVC encoding engine provides low latency for IP streams with support for RTSP, RTMP, SRT, and other protocols. PTZ control enables precise pan, tilt, and zoom at high speeds and programmable preset positions, and FreeD support enables integration into AR/VR production environments.

Application

This PTZ camera is suitable for professional outdoor productions such as live sporting events, concerts, news and weather reporting , and remote broadcasting where 4K60 output is required. The combination of basic and IP output formats allows the camera to be used in traditional broadcast environments, AV-over-IP workflows, and hybrid production systems.

Limits

The camera does not offer an internal recording solution; external storage is required. For systems with particularly low latency requirements, additional network or encoder hardware may be required. Due to its size and functionality, a suitable mounting solution and power supply (such as PoE++ or an external power supply) are necessary for installation in fixed outdoor environments.
