Features
The Bolin EXU230NX is an outdoor PTZ camera that delivers broadcast-quality Full HD (1080p60) video with 30× optical zoom and a 1/1.8-inch Sony STARVIS II image sensor for enhanced low-light performance. The camera supports NDI HX3 output including NDI Embedded Bridge for low-latency IP streams, in addition to traditional video outputs via dual 3G-SDI , HDMI 2.0 , and optical SDI via an SFP module. The enclosure is IP67-rated for protection against dust, water, and temperature fluctuations and is equipped with an internal heater, defroster, and anti-corrosion coating. Support for the FreeD protocol , balanced XLR audio inputs, and multiple control protocols are included.
Operation
The combination of a Sony STARVIS II sensor and advanced image processing delivers images with high color and detail reproduction, even in low light conditions. The PTZ mechanism supports precise pan, tilt, and zoom movements with programmable presets and trace memory functions, allowing multiple fixed viewpoints with a single unit. The NDI HX3 output and NDI Embedded Bridge enable low-latency video streaming over networks, simplifying integration into AV-over-IP productions. Simultaneous SDI, HDMI, and IP streams support parallel use in various workflows.
Application
The EXU230NX is designed for professional outdoor environments and large-scale productions such as sports stadiums, outdoor events, observation decks, and live productions where high video quality, robust construction, and network integration are required. Thanks to the combination of traditional and NDI output, the camera can be used in broadcast, hybrid, and IP-based workflows.
Limits
The camera only supports Full HD resolution ; 4K output is not available. There is no internal storage for footage, requiring external recording or network equipment. Installation requires a suitable mounting and power solution (such as PoE++ or external power supply) depending on the location and electrical environment.
