Features
The Blackmagic UltraStudio Monitor 3G is an external video output interface via Thunderbolt 3 .
The device converts video signal from a computer to 3G-SDI and HDMI output in SD and HD formats up to 1080p60 .
The UltraStudio Monitor 3G is not a capture device , but is intended solely for video output from professional video production software to an external monitor or broadcast display.
Connection is exclusively via a Thunderbolt 3 port .
Operation
The UltraStudio Monitor 3G receives video signal from a computer via Thunderbolt 3 and generates a real-time SDI and HDMI output.
The device functions as an external video output card for software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, or live streaming software.
The unit does not generate a video signal itself and cannot capture external sources.
The device will not work without a connected computer and compatible software.
