Features

The AVMATRIX SC2030 is a professional 3G-SDI/HDMI cross converter with an integrated scaler and frame rate converter. The converter converts HDMI and SDI signals bidirectionally and can simultaneously upscale, downscale, or convert the output signal to a different frame rate. This makes the SC2030 ideal for broadcast, livestream, and AV installations where various video systems need to work together.

In addition to video conversion, the SC2030 features a 3.5 mm analog audio input that allows an external audio signal to be embedded in the HDMI or SDI output. The settings can be easily adjusted via the DIP switches on the device or via the AVMATRIX software on a Windows PC.

Operation

The SC2030 accepts both HDMI and SDI video sources and converts them to the desired output format. Thanks to the built-in scaler and frame rate converter, the output signal can be adjusted independently, allowing different resolutions and frame rates to be combined seamlessly.

External sound can be added to the video signal via the analog 3.5 mm audio input, which is then transmitted as embedded audio via HDMI or SDI. The desired conversion mode can be selected directly using the DIP switches or via the AVMATRIX configuration software. Furthermore, thanks to the dual power inputs, the converter can be redundantly powered for extra operational reliability during critical productions.

Limits

• Only one video source can be actively used at the same time.

• The configuration software is available exclusively for Windows .

• There is no integrated display for status or configuration checks.

• HDR, LUT, and color correction functions are not supported.

• No network functionality, streaming, or USB video output is available.
