Aida TGEN-6P - Tri-Level Sync Generator with 6 Reference Outputs

Key features

• Generates tri-level HD sync for cameras and other equipment
• Six reference outputs from a single generator
• Reference input (tri-level HD or bi-level SD) to daisy-chain multiple TGEN-6P units
• Fine adjustment of horizontal and vertical timing
• Supports 1080p, 1080i and 720p at common broadcast frame rates
• Configured via DIP switches with LCD text; 2 ppm accuracy

How it works

The TGEN-6P provides a common reference signal to up to six devices, such as AIDA GEN3G-IPC-200 cameras, switchers and recorders, keeping all video exactly in sync. For larger systems, chain several generators via the reference input.

Applications

Multi-camera and broadcast productions where all equipment must stay in sync: TV studios, OB vans, live events and 3D productions.

Limitations

Tri-level HD sync output only (no black burst). Up to six outputs per unit. Equipment needs a genlock input to use the sync.
