How it works

Connect the camera to the IPCOMM-POE with a network cable; the unit powers the camera via PoE+ and sends the signal wirelessly to your Wi-Fi router or access point. Initial setup is done from a computer. Multiple units can be combined for multi-camera setups.

Applications

Camera positions where no network cable can be run: mobile setups, sports fields, events, houses of worship and venues where you want to keep cables off the floor.

Limitations

Performance depends on the Wi-Fi network: obstacles, distance and network traffic affect the link. The manufacturer advises keeping signal strength above 60%, limiting the camera bitrate and preferably using 12V power. NP-F battery not included. Works with IP cameras only.
